Lexus LS430 2003 - Engine Oil Change

First you need to lift the front of the vehicle.
I used a ramp and also placed jack stands as a safety measure in case the ramp fails me.

(Not in the picture but I placed a brick block behind the rear wheels to prevent the car from rolling back)

What you will need: new Bosch oil filter,
Engine Oil 5W40, Quartz Full Synthetic 5 Liter(only synthetic for this Lexus :), Oil filter wrench

You will need a philips screwdriver to open the bottom cover below:

Once the cover is out of the way you will see the oil drain plug(white) and the oil filter(red, hidden)

Lets get started. Locate the oil drain plug. Position your oil catch container, open the drain and admire the dirt leave the system.

DONT forget to close the drain plug after its done flushing or else you will watch new oil come pouring out as you pour it in :(

Now its time to replace the oil filter.
Use the oil filter wrench to loosen the filter. Then use your hands to slowly open as left over oil seeps through.

Time to fill her back up!
Open up the hood and open the engine oil cap. 5 Liters should fill her up perfectly.

I hope this helped somebody out there with an Lexus LS430 or any other car. Its not a big job but it feels great knowing that you gave your car the best.
